I told the HERE representative what happened and she told me the request code changed every time you restart your car, so the request code is no long valid. So, I called UConnect Assist and they told me I have to called HERE.COM customer service. (You don't need to type in those dashes on the code). I type the first time, it show me a message saying "Error Code" so I re-type and make sure there were no mistake. I hit Yes and you will need to type in the Activation code I got from the confirmation email. Once you insert the USB drive, you need to wait roughly 2-3 minutes to have the USB loaded up and a message show up if you need to installed the map. Then, I have to insert the second USB drive into the USB input under the UConnect system. In my case, I updated long time ago, so this step wasn't need.
You need to install the v14.24.5 update before you updated map. The $149 package came with 2 USB drive, one is drive contain the UConnect v14.25.5 update.
The Request code can be find under System Information on the UConnect System. I have no luck installing the new update.īefore you can order the map, you have to have your VIN and Request Code in order to order from their website. However, after hours talking to the representative from HERE.COM. I ordered the new map update for my Uconnect system and I got it from the mail today.
